Oli Sykes And Fall Out Boy Tease New Track ‘Love From The Other Side’
In an unexpected turn of events, Oli Sykes and Fall Out Boy are both teasing a new track. We now know that this track is “Love From The Other Side“, which will be releasing next week. This will be the first single off of the band’s eighth studio album.
However, one thing is still unclear. Why is Oli Sykes also teasing this new track?

Oli Sykes Teases New Fall Out Boy Track ‘Love From The Other Side’
The first news regarding the new Fall Out Boy track “Love From The Other Side“, came directly from Oli Sykes.
The Bring Me The Horizon frontman posted a letter from Fall Out Boy to his social media accounts. The letter revealed the title of the upcoming track – which wasn’t know at the time – as well as a hint at the album’s title, release date, and track count.
Text at the top of the letter said “A HOMEBOY’S LIFE“. Perhaps this is the name of the album that features “Love From The Other Side“. Additionally, the paper revealed a January 18th, 2023 release date, and a hint that this could be track 1 out of 13.
There is still no confirmation on why Oli Sykes received this letter from Fall Out Boy, or what it means, but many fans are hoping this teases involvement from Oli on the track itself.

Why Would Oli Sykes Feature On A Fall Out Boy Song?
Typically it would seem like including Oli Sykes on a Fall Out Boy song would be random and totally out of left field, however this actually makes a ton of sense right now.
The latest Bring Me The Horizon material has leaned heavily into the emo and pop punk genre, with both “DiE4u” and “sTraNgeRs” fitting in with this style.
So while this doesn’t confirm anything, it is very possible that Oli Sykes and Fall Out Boy are collaborating for this new era. Only time will tell however.
There is more evidence however that has fans convinced Oli Sykes may be featured in the new track.

Fall Out Boy – Love From The Other Side
The upcoming Fall Out Boy song “Love From The Other Side” was originally teased on Christmas when Fall Out Boy emailed a video titled “A Claymation Fall Out Boy Celebration” to fans.
The Claymation video featured a guitar-heavy track at the very end, teasing a new era of music. At the time, it wasn’t know what song this was, or when it would release.
Fortunately, the band did not keep us waiting, and we now that song is Love From The Other Side and we have an official release date for the track.
This information was released in the form of an official teaser following the previous post from Oli Sykes.

Fall Out Boy fans will not have to wait long for the new track to drop, as Love From The Other Side releases next week on January 18th, 2023.
I know I am excited for the return of Fall Out Boy, especially if the track is as guitar-heavy as the teasers make it out to be.
